Closing a Security Exposure Across 18 Business Systems

A vulnerability assessment identified a known software weakness across several business systems. The organisation needed to establish which installations were affected and move quickly from findings to action.

We applied the relevant updates, checked service operation and rescanned the affected systems. The validation findings were recorded against the original issue, giving the business a clear account of what had been addressed.

Tenable Nessus helped identify and verify the targeted vulnerability, while Microsoft Defender for Endpoint supplied additional endpoint context. The team used approved patch-management tools and PowerShell checks to coordinate updates on affected Windows Server systems, then rescanned to confirm the specific exposure had been removed.
